Security software company Delinea has joined forces with tech giant Microsoft to help customers who will be affected by the upcoming shutdown of Microsoft Entra Permissions Management.
Microsoft has announced that its Microsoft Entra Permissions Management service will be retired on October 1, 2025. To ensure these users continue to have access to advanced cloud security features, the tech giant has partnered with Delinea and is offering its ‘Privilege Control for Cloud Entitlements’ (PCCE) solution as an alternative.
Delinea’s PCCE is designed to help businesses track and secure all the digital identities – both people and automated systems – that access their cloud services on platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Dedicated teams from both Delinea and Microsoft will guide businesses through the transition, helping them understand and use all the features of PCCE.
“The introduction of AI has led to an explosion of human and machine identities at a time when public cloud environments are growing increasingly complex,” said Art Gilliland, CEO at Delinea.
“Microsoft and Delinea share a deep, trusted relationship focused on protecting customers and securing their identities. As Microsoft’s partner for cloud entitlement security, together we are ensuring a seamless transition and continued access to cutting-edge identity security, reinforcing the trust Microsoft has placed in Delinea to support its customers.”
