BeyondTrust has announced the addition of a new European (EU) cloud region, extending the availability of Identity Security Insights to organisations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) who adhere to local data residency requirements.
This addition reinforces BeyondTrust’s commitment to providing comprehensive identity security while meeting the evolving needs of its global customers.
The new EU cloud region offers localised data storage and analysis for Identity Security Insights customers, allowing a choice between the US and EU for data residency to align with data management requirements. This expanded data residency continues to offer compliance with stringent regional data protection regulations, like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and now also supports organisations with internal policies, local regulations, or operational requirements for data to be kept within the European Union.
BeyondTrust Identity Security Insights is a unique, cloud-native solution built from the ground up to deliver a unified view of an organisation’s entire identity landscape. It leverages AI/ML-powered analysis to uncover obscure connections between identities, human and service accounts, privileges, and configurations across endpoints, servers, databases, identity providers, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and DevOps tools.
It also offers contextually rich and threat-aware, prescriptive recommendations and detections, as well as out-of-the-box reporting and visualisations to allow organisations to identify and address critical identity vulnerabilities proactively, before they can be exploited.
