Gigamon, a leader in deep observability, has opened a new, 76,767-square-foot office in the new Olympia Cyber Space building in Chennai, India.
The newly constructed facility, which becomes the second largest Gigamon office globally outside of the company’s Santa Clara headquarters, will serve as the company’s second headquarters to meet the growing global demand for its Deep Observability Pipeline solution.
“We’re thrilled to offer our growing employee population in Chennai a world-class workspace where they can continue to innovate and excel in our purpose to protect the hybrid networks and data of the largest, most complex organisations on the planet,” said Shane Buckley, President and CEO at Gigamon.
“India is not only a premier source of top technical talent but, with the fastest growing economy in the G20, our Chennai office enables us to capitalise on the growing demand for our Deep Observability Pipeline solution in India, across the broader APAC region and around the world.”
The new Gigamon office is designed to serve up to 1,000 employees and features unique collaboration areas, a cafeteria and recreational areas, including a cricket batting cage, rock climbing wall, pool table, carrom and chess facilities. The Olympia Cyber Space building was constructed using energy-efficient systems and sustainable materials and is IGBC platinum and WELL’s Gold Rated Development certified.
