Infosecurity Europe 2024 opens for business

Infosecurity Europe is set to open for business tomorrow (June 4) at the ExCel in London, with this year’s event promising to be the biggest and best to date.

The event, which runs until Thursday June 6, will feature 380 exhibitors showcasing the latest solutions, and over 200 hours of talks from leading industry professionals and keynote speakers.

Infosecurity Europe boasts an impressive lineup of renowned experts and thought leaders in the cybersecurity sphere. From keynote speakers to panel discussions, fireside chats and more – attendees will have unparalleled access to insights and strategies from those leading the charge at the forefront of the industry.

Attendees will have the chance to enhance their skills and stay ahead of industry trends with a diverse range of security workshops and in-depth practical meetings hosting expert speakers which cover topics including understanding ransomware capabilities, simplifying cyber assessment frameworks and discussing the evolving future of API security.

There will be an opportunity to compare and contrast the latest tech, as well as get recommendations from those facing the same cyberthreats.

Among some of the highlights of this year’s event are:

· Copenhagen-based Heimdal is offering attendees an opportunity to engage with industry-leading cybersecurity experts, experience live demonstrations and enjoy presentations throughout the week. Speakers include Ross Duncan, Director of Customer Success, and Imran Rai, Technical Success Manager. Rai will present a session on ‘Detonating Ransomware’ offering attendees the chance to equip themselves to understand and mitigate ransomware risks. Heimdal empowers CISOs, security teams and IT admins to enhance their SecOps, reduce alert fatigue, and be proactive using one seamless command and control platform.

· Headline speaker and broadcaster, Henry Ajder, will discuss unlocking the future of Generative AI. He will present an unmissable keynote address focused on maximising the benefits and minimising the risks of this transformative technology within information security. This takes place on Tuesday June 4 at 10am.

· On Wednesday June 5 at 10am, Jake Humphrey and Damian Hughes, from the High Performance Podcast, will highlight previous guests who have made it to the top of the tech industry to reveal how they have reached their goals and how to apply those lessons to your cybersecurity career.

· Claire Williams OBE, one of only two women to head a Formula 1 team in the modern era, will provide insights into how to engage a vast workforce, embed key cybersecurity

values, and to motivate others to have conviction in operating to the best of their ability. This takes place on Thursday June 6 at 10am.
