Registration opens for Cyber Security Connect UK 2019

Cyber Security Connect UK 2019, the leading conference and industry forum for CISOs, has opened registration for the second edition

Cyber Security Connect UK 2019, a leading conference and industry forum for CISOs, has opened registration for the second edition which takes place from November 13 to 15 and will again be held in Monaco.

Cyberattacks cost British business £17 billion a year and Cyber Security Connect UK 2019 is a forum that brings together senior information security professionals from across the UK’s private and public sectors to exchange views and opinion, finding solutions to minimise the impact.

Aurore Domange, Event Director for Cyber Security Connect UK 2019, said: “The 2019 edition will feature high-level issues-led content, peer-to-peer networking and an exclusive opportunity for partners and delegates to solve business issues in a focused environment.

“The first edition demonstrated that the exclusive nature of this platform can capture invaluable conversations between delegates and partners. Yet again, the topics will include cutting edge industry issues and we’re thrilled to be able to bring the community together for more thought-provoking debate.”

The conference will be chaired by Martin Smith MBE, Chairman and Founder of SASIG (The Security Awareness Special Interest Group), who said: “This is a unique event and will provide the CISO community with a dedicated forum that cannot be found elsewhere. Networking with like-minded peers across multiple sectors enables conversations to further the industry and enrich personal development.”

Mark Walmsley, Chairman of the Cyber Security Connect UK 2019 steering committee and CISO of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, said: “Cyber Security Connect UK 2019 brings together senior industry professionals in one place.

“Dedicating three days to further our own knowledge across all sectors, build a strong peer network and find solutions to critical business needs is essential to providing first class security solutions.

“The steering committee is integrated within the forum to provide guidance and ensure the topics discussed are truly pertinent to the industry.”

More than 300 top-level cybersecurity professionals are expected to attend the second edition of Cyber Security Connect UK 2019.

It is organised by the same team who produce the French market-leading Les Assises de la Sécurité conference and offers a unique opportunity for delegates who participate in an insightful programme, with expert round tables and partner workshops.
