VMware to showcase security, data centre modernisation, cloud and digital workspaces at Gitex
VMware has announced today it will participate at GITEX Technology Week 2017 in Dubai, where it will showcase the latest innovations in security, data centre modernisation, and digital workspaces to enable Middle East digital transformation.
GITEX Technology Week 2017 will be held from 8-12 October 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. To experience VMware’s hands-on digital demos, in co-ordination with partners Aptec, Redington, and Starlink, visit the VMware stand in Hall Six.
VMware will also showcase the latest solutions across fields such as multi-cloud management, cyber-security, data centre modernisation and hyper-converged infrastructure, Internet of Things, enterprise mobility, and software-defined networking and virtualisation.
Exchanging best practices with CIOs, VMware will host an executive breakfast under the theme of ‘Realise What’s Possible.’
Demonstrating the strong demand in cloud technology as the foundation for digital transformation, public cloud spending in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region is set to top USD 715 million in 2017 – up 37% from 2015, according to a recent report by research firm IDC.
